That in turn symbolizes the wealth and prosperity it brought was also fake. No matter how resourceful they are, they can’t beat the system which separates the class. The same nice evening rain for the rich on top of the hill, causes immeasurable damage to the poor living below.

(The rich family dad) He was investigated by Police for drug use and then blackmailed by a nighclub owner and a former Korean actress for 300 mil won (215 000 USD) for hush money. While Lee Sun-kyun was investigated by police ,he killed himself in his car at park and few days after his death he was found innocent. Sorry for my English, tried my best.

2024-12-01 07:46:18 +0000 UTCYou guys need to watch "Memories of murder" after this one, its made my the same director and the same lead actor (the dad in Parasite), it is imho the best Crime movie there is, it will completely scramble your mind maybe even more than Parasite and based on a true story its simply a masterpiece.

It was a daydream. They will never afford the house.

The wealth of the rich is built on the backs of the poor, but these individuals are not inherently evil—the system is. It’s literally a case of “don’t hate the player, hate the game.” It’s also fascinating to observe how people respond differently to the characters, depending on their own social class. How we judge the characters brilliantly reflects how capitalism has conditioned us to think in terms of groups rather than as a collective society. The poor hate or condemn the rich, and the rich do the same to the poor, with neither side showing empathy for the other. A sick system. A brilliant critique of capitalism. A masterpiece.
