You are missing out skipping the sequel films. The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi are fantastic. Rise of Skywalker is bad, but it doesn’t “ruin” anything. I strongly suggest you give them a watch, along with Solo, and skip all of the Disney+ shows.

nice reaction as always. I will say though Ash yes in terms of actors, Donnie Yen is kicking the collective asses of the Star Wars franchise. But in terms of characters ain't no way. Vader kicks his ass without the suit, let alone with it plus a lightsaber along with many other characters. Donnie's character is for sure force sensitive, but he is no Jedi. Also yes Stormtroopers are bad shots throughout the series but in the very first film they were missing on purpose so the main characters could get away and lead them

When it comes to watching Kenobi I would highly recommend not watching the actual show version but watch The Patterson Cut film version instead. Someone who worked for Disney I believe didnt like how Disney done the show and made his own version where he cut out all the unnecessary and cheesy scenes and added some sfx to scenes that were bland and boring and just spiced them up a bit. I hated the show even though it did have some good elements but I watched his 2 and half hour film version twice in a row because it was sooo much better. It will also be a lot easier for you to film.

Loved your reaction to this. In my honest opinion, if you’re going to do a reaction to the Obi-Wan Kenobi Series, don’t react to the actual series on Disney Plus. Look up something called The Patterson Cut. Kai Patterson is a talented filmmaker who has taken the Obi-Wan Series and edited it down from a 6-episode series that totals around 4 hours and 40 minutes, to a 2 and a half hour movie. In my personal opinion, he kept the good stuff and removed the bad while polishing the stuff that was kept. Highly recommended. You'll honestly probably have a good time with a few of the Disney Star Wars movies, Solo is pretty fun and if you're not a lifelong fan I can imagine even the sequel trilogy might be fun but as someone who has a very deep connection to Star Wars and its lore since childhood, it's very clear that with most projects Disney really doesn't understand this universe or respect it enough. So, do whatever you feel like, after all, this is your experience so if you have fun with all their movies and shows, who's gonna stop you :) Loved the reaction, I genuinely really like this movie and it was great to watch along with you both.

I think the “Kennobi” miniseries is a great choice guys. Also “the Mandalorian” is a must. The “Andor” miniseries is excellent and takes the storytelling to another level. In terms of the movies. You should at least watch Episode 7 “The Force Awakens”. It has nostalgic value and it’s very entertaining.

Excellent movie. I’m a second generation Star Wars fan who grew up with the original unaltered trilogy on TV, and to me, Rouge One is the first Star Wars movie since those original three to give me that feeling like a kid again and say “That’s a Star Wars movie!”. It was a nice breath of fresh air to go for a spin off, and that third act is just amazing. Such an emotional roller coaster ride for me. Well I think you covered about all that’s good in the franchise, because believe me, you should stop right there, because it goes downhill after this.

I didn’t care much for the Obi Wan series but Andor is (no joke) one of the best television series I’ve ever seen. It’s the prequel to this movie and made by some of the same creators. It’s my all-time favorite Star Wars content, along with this film. Definitely don’t miss out on it! Also, the sequel films are not nearly as bad as many make it out to seem. They do not “ruin” the previous films. Yes, there are issues but they are still a fun watch with the amazing CGI, world-building, cinematography, music, etc. It’s always better to watch and form your own opinions. As a massive Star Wars fan/nerd, I still enjoy them.

The storyline, the way it connects with the originals, the characters, the bad ending that eventually leads to a happy one (but after another journey we already went through) - it has it all! Man, everyone in the theater went wild when Vader showed up at the end. Now this is the end of the star wars films. Nothing happened after this. Now mandalorian and Obi-Wan get a pass. I gotta see ash on don't trust Hanna for mandalorian my god he's gonna love it.

The final trilogy is not as bad as everyone says. The first movie is quite fun. The rest are as bad as what people say though..

I was so surprised at how good this movie was compared to the other newer Star Wars when i first watched it! Also LOVE Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan, was not a fan of the Obi-Wan show 🫤 it felt veryyyyy Disney, I hope yall like it though!

Cassian Andor has his own series "Andor" and it's one of the Greatest Star Wars content I've ever watched, it adds so much to the story and the world and gives a lot of inside to the Empire and the life in it

Andor is Cassians backstory. I believe it’s written by the same director, it’s the by far the best Star Wars Series. Same level of realism, highly recommend!
