Star Wars is a great franchise. Ash credits The God Father as being his all-time great movie. I'd like to suggest some other great Robert De Niro films are huge power houses: 1. Deer Hunter(1978) came out one year before the first Star Wars and it stars John Cazale, he was Fredo in the GF, Christopher Walken and a young Meryl Streep. There is also Raging Bull(1980) this is a Martin Scorsese movie starring Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci. And then the most unusual film, there's nothing that can compare. Walken is so different in it compared to his Deer Hunter role. I'd recommend you watch Deer Hunter first and then watch "Pennies From Heaven" (1981) Not a chance Ash and Hannah won't be belly laughing and saying over and over, "Oh My Days!" And the way it ends...well you say I sure didn't see that coming.

My favorite part of this is that Ash understood EXACTLY what the dark side teachings were all about right away when Luke went into that cave! PERFECT breakdown too. Made me very happy, he really gets it.
