Joined in 2012 myself, and this is exactly my experience as well. Only 78 of us though

2023-01-17 02:58:47 +0000 UTCI joined the United States Marine Corps in 2012, and I can say that physical contact was way down from what you see here. I can also say that even so it was pretty close to accurate. There was a lot more officers, but the attitude stayed the same. Looking back on it, all I can do is laugh. During, it was terrifying. They also like to surround you with three drill instructors at a time and make you feel alone against powerful people even if you have 100+ with you. It was surreal to experience, but helped me learn a lot.
