2021-06-19 11:26:43 +0000 UTCI like the idea of the character being untied. It could add some dynamics to the levels. For example you have to get a key to escape the area, but it's in a place you can only reach while untied. So you first have to get untied in order to reach the key. This could go more complex as well. Some items might be accessible at waist height so she could maybe grab them while tied up assuming her fingers are free, so mittens or a straightjacket would prevent that. She could maybe also grab things with her mouth if she isn't gagged. Being untied also means perhaps you could fight any guards, or have the ability to run away and hide, meaning that if you're spotted it's not as if you're instantly caught again. Perhaps if a guard catches you, you can press a key or a quick time event to try and get away from them. It would be more difficult the more tied up you are, but perhaps as long as your legs are tied you may still have a chance. This could lead into sound based stealth as well. If there's a guard standing somewhere, you could perhaps call out to lure them somewhere. This wouldn't possible while gagged, or maybe it would just have a much reduced range. There could also be the option to throw something to distract a guard. This could maybe only be while the arms are free, or perhaps it could be done so long as she can use her fingers, making it more difficult it the hands are tied. Or heck, maybe even the option to throw something using the toes if her feet are free, with a chance of falling over due to having to balance on one leg. Of course, that's probably WAY too in depth. It'll be interesting to follow this one. I'm assuming for this early prototype you can't leave the cell you start in?
