Solo Blues Guitar - Routine #7 - Licks, Turnarounds and Shuffles!

Hello friends,

and welcome to Routine #7 of my solo blues guitar lessons series. In this tutorial, I will break down some of my favorite blues guitar techniques that you can use to embellish your favorite covers or original tunes. You will learn how to perform an advanced walking turnaround, a traveling shuffle over E and A and some useful licks inspired by players like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton. Let's get started!

Lessons in this Series: Note: Each routine gets progressively more difficult.

Hey Sven, glad to see your request went through. I'm a little ticked that the confirmation took so long to reach you though. I'll have to look into that with Aweber. Thanks for the heads up!

Sorry, email came after 1h

Hi Rob, when clicking on "Request a song", filling out the form and clicking submit, There comes a confirmation that I enrolled in a newsletter which supposedly will send a confirmation email that never comes.

Cool stuff! Digging in!

This is awesome. What pickup are you using for your acoustic?

Thanks Rob, i always like your blues lessons very much!!

Cool

Hey Danny, glad this lesson comes to you at the right time. As you can see the routines become more complex as you go, but each features some useful technique. While the first couple routines are easy to play, I've found that my higher level students have difficulty counting along. I've found that improving the skill of keeping my foot steady, and being able to count has improved my rhythm & lead skills quite a bit.

Thanks Rob, I want to step up my acoustic blues playing, and this should be just the ticket.
