"This was the hardest part of writing everything for me, because I was initially unsure how I wanted things to begin. In the original version, the story would have picked immediately where the previous story ended with some back and forth between the past and the present. After thinking about it for a while and seeing where I wanted things to go, I decided that just having a prolouge story to start things off was the best choice. This story was meant to establish a bit more lore about the characters than usual, so starting from the past made the most sense rather than constantly switching. Originally, the host's name was Steve O'Brian, a reference to a couple of streamers that I watch, but I wanted to change the name after realizing that he was too close to Conan O'Brien in appearance and the original reference would make less sense. I ended up altering the name, considering he was interviewing superheroes, to O'Keefe instead. Yes, that's Jean's dad. It simultaneously adds more context to her hunt for interviews with superheroes now, doesn't it?"
