Subscription Services, Billing Models and You
Added 2024-08-13 17:42:10 +0000 UTCPatreon is changing their billing models by removing the option to charge all patrons on the first of each month to only have patrons be charged the same day as when they first joined. This is to fit within Apple's subscription policies. This affects everyone on Patreon, including myself, and I personally am not happy about these changes.
So I created a form to collect everyone's thoughts and opinions and ultimately help creators what actions. This form is for everyone, creators and supporters alike, and not just for those on my patreon here , so do please share this around with your friends!

If you haven't heard, Patreon is making changes to their billing options for all creators due to Apple's subscription policies. By November 2024, all creators will only use "subscription billing" meaning new supporters will be charged the same day each month as when they first joined. The option to choose "first-of-the-month" billing , meaning supporters being charged the first of each month regardless when they join, will be removed. This change will force all creators to switch to "subscription billing" by November whether they personally agree to it or not.
