Weekly update + sneak peak
Added 2025-07-18 23:00:28 +0000 UTCThis week I managed to make good progress on several sprites and scene WIPs for the beginning of the game.
So just to keep you updated, here’s a bit about how the process works:
I start by sketching some placeholders and coding part of the dialogue for that scene.
Then, depending on the scene, I finish the art so I can check if anything needs to be adjusted like how it looks next to other sprites or with the transitions.
After that, I go back and tweak the transitions and dialogue, since sometimes the characters talk "slower" or interrupt each other depending on what’s happening.
Only once all of that is done do I start adding the sound effects and music!
I'll leave a little preview below so you can get a feel for how it's looking.
Since there’s not much else to say beyond the sprites, I thought you might enjoy seeing how the steps come together!
