General update

Next project

The last version of Double Trouble (DT) is done! I have in plans release of the succubus models on VAM hub in the future. I’m planning public release in about a month.

As promised the next project in line is the Tiny Assassin (TA). Some work has already been done, like the new Liara insides model and remastering of recovered old files. Going to post more updates soon.

In the meantime, I will continue to create simple comics like The Unjust Punishment so there is something going on between long periods of TA updates.

Audio problems

I wasted a lot of time fixing audio problems with my editing software (DaVinci Resolve). From what I discovered it occurs when using h264 codec on delivery page. I stumbled upon this by accident, after weeks of recreating the audio for DT from ground up in another program. The Double Trouble GTS VR edit is delivered using new AV1 codec, which seems to mitigate the audio problem, and as a bonus decrease total file size dramatically. If I knew this earlier, I would finish the whole DT project months earlier 😡 For some time I’ll be delivering h264 codec version as fallback until people can verify that the new codec works for them.

2D to VR edits

As you could see the “simple” 2D to VR conversion of Double Trouble took much longer than anticipated. That’s why I decided to never to something like this ever again. If animation is going to be in VR it needs to start as it from the beginning. The first versions of DT were completely in VR, turning them to standard 2D animation was trivial.

Because of this I decided to deliver the Tiny Assassin animation only in 2D. Of course I’ll provide plenty of VR stills for you to enjoy. I just don’t want to end up in limbo again.

Commissions

There are still some obstacles stopping me form opening commissions. I would like to finish TA first. I have big plans regarding restructuring and development of Cyclone Red project. The goal is to give you, my beloved Patrons, more control, and to drastically reduce the time for animations to happen.
