Your Beautiful Characters + Thoughts about tiers

Hello gang! Here's the newest batch of characters that made it in to the credits of the last video. Look at their beautiful faces.

Speaking of beautiful faces, we got a lot of new ones here after the last video. Welcome new folks! I can't believe how many fans these animations are getting, it's really awesome.

Your support is helping out tremendously, and I'm at a point now where I'm almost doing this full time with only small amounts of freelance work on the side, really can't express how amazing it all is.

Character Drawing Thoughts:

There is one downside, it's getting hard to finish all these drawings. I've drawn 70 characters since the perk was introduced, with a lot more still on the way. And with so many of them it's starting to take a decent chunk of time out of creating videos.

For anyone who isn't aware, the channel is almost completely run by myself with the occasional bit of help from my wife and my audio guy... So I think there needs to be some adjustments.

If you've already signed up to that tier you'll still get drawings for the credits, and that will stay the case until things officially change.

But I want to hear your thoughts. I don't want to stop doing them entirely, but I'm thinking about adjusting the perks for the current tiers and either introduce a new one or possibly have limited spaces for the drawings going forward. What do you guys think?

For now let's rejoice in their beauty and see where things go. I hope you'll all understand, and thanks so much for your support everyone!

Your Beautiful Characters + Thoughts about tiers

I decided to join when the $10 tier was the highest but wasn't able to join until after the $25 tier was instilled. I do not mind. I am here to support your content. The character would be nice but I'm not in a rush, I'd rather see you release more content.

Fox Azure

The characters you are cranking out all look pretty darn amazing, even the simplest design ones has their unique quirk, so even if you were to use copy-pasta techniques, they still look original, which is where the magic lies i believe. Now for some constructive suggestion how to handle the newfound fame and influx. I do not see anything wrong in "upping" the tier for peoples custom character. This is only natural in the laws of economics. You start off smol and hardle significant. So the demand is low, and thus you have more free time, and thus greater availability that allows you to have low prices on your commissions. However as popularity increases, the demand rises. Then there is nothing inherently wrong in increasing the price of your assets. And this is only natural, as the rise in popularity causes a decrease in your free available time. And if there is a certain line that has been pounded into my heads in the early 2000's during the haydays of a certain World of Warcraft, by a smol greenskin wide grinning gobbo. Then it is the phrase: "TIME IS MONEY FRIEND!" Remember, your time is valuable, not just for us as fans, but also for yourself and those around you. It is only fair that you up the price/tier of the custom character commission to make it value your time. Even if they were cheaper before, that was simply because you had a smaller fanbase, and tbh, I do not see this is as unfair, as the first couple of fans helps growing the fanbase further. I mean, I just see it as the good ol glory days of the 50's when a single household income could afford a traditional family with a stay at home wife and 3 kids, + a big ass house with a garage. aka Simpsons style. While now a days for the same income, I'd be living in a dog-house, that, is if I'm lucky and the dog recently died and the owner really misses his dog and hates to see a an empty dog house, and thus rents it out for cheap, to help is ailing heart. If it weren't for my entire family wanting to sacrefice my grandma to the nearby elderlyhome, I don't think I'd be living comfortable in the house, previously my grandma had. I mean, it was the only way to get my grandma to agree, was that I were to be the one to inherit and take over the house, so that it stayed in the family. but I digress. TL;DR Increase Tier of your custom character commission = good. Custom characters = Very good. However, do not let them completely take over you entire time. Also, remember to keep enough time for yourself, don't burn yourself out. Take a vacation need be. Actually make a Custom Tier for your commission that you can put on Hold and re-open whenever you feel that you are getting much of a backlog. That way you can controll the flow of commissions, and easier manage your time. Love your work man! Godspeed.
