Character changes sneak peek

Hey guys and girls!
This... Might might be a hit or miss for some people, and I am fully aware of it, so lets jump straight into it. Long post ahead.

As you all might have seen already, Eiko got a slight redesign. While hair was the biggest change, there were also some changes, or more like fixes, that aren't just "she went to a hairdresser" explanation. During my game work, all the way from early early Episode 1 days (the non reworked one), all the way to Ep3, throughout all of it my characters folder was... Messy, for the lack of better word. Due to it, as my life was also messy (and still is with uni), that led to some mistakes and oversights, even in the character designs. For example, before-mentioned Eiko. For some reason, she had permanent blush on, because I forgot to turn it off and it stayed ever after. She also had much grayer skin when I still used my old lightning style (which I fixed for ep3).

All those small issues that piled up made me rethink my approach, and take proper time to address those issues. As some know, just after Episode 3 release I took a break, which wasn't really a break, as I cleaned my whole pc and organized many things. One of the things I did was... Brainstorm and fixes. Throughout that process, I found many issues, and I even managed to fix things that I didn't know was possible.
Character heights not adjusted? (all females besides our midget Avis needed microadjustments when next to another character) - Fixed mostly in Ep3 already
Character having two versions with slight body change? (unfortunately, this also happened (rare) due to my mistakes or broken mods) - Fixed
Skin not in correct color to my views? (Eiko) - Fixed.
Serena's eye almost always being slightly squinted - Fixed LOL
Simon's, April's, and some others hair literally floating over his head? - Fixed
Holes on the head due to hair being like cheese? - Fixed! I usually fixed this manually in photoshop)

And then we come to the last point, what people probably wondered the most after seeing the images. MC & Serena.
Both of them got a hair change, and that alone wouldn't warrant a post by itself.
Characters can and will change hairs here and there if some times passes ingame or there is a special event. The reason why I am highlighting them is because they also received fixes and improvements that aren't just "hair". I dislike changing characters midgame, and this is the last time I do that (unless Hanmen releases 8k super duper HD SDD RayTracing skin that also doesn't impact fps 😏)

The mc was one of the most disliked things judging by people's complaints, as a ton of people disliked his overall looks. While I do think some comments were a bit too harsh (well, it's the internet I guess), I did take it to heart. Idk how much from this picture you can see, but besides the hairchange, I also improved his skin and eyes+brows. He was made 2 and a half years ago, and everything he uses was Vanilla and non HD, and not changed since day one. I kept everything else the same, but I changed these to be more HD and also changed skin so he isn't a a guy waxing himself 24/7 with his buttery smooth glossy skin. 🤣
The changes are small, but with the hair change too, it should be a much better experience. Many commented that other characters look better than MC, and I had to agree with those views, so I tackled it while also keeping as much as possible as before.
Serena had almost no changes, the only change besides hair (which I fell in love now and she will keep for a bit) and the mentioned eye openess fix, was also adding a bit more real freckles on her body. I did want to add her to the post because everyone wants to look at some ladies too 😍Making her h scene in ep3, it really bothered me how her freckles on body were just darker spots but they felt off... Thankfully, with some magic involved, now she has some more real spots on her body and more what I had in mind originally when making her.

And with that, this long post is coming to a close. Main reason of it was not only to give a sneak peek, but to say in advance these changes so people are aware of it. I know everyone that enjoys the game probably loves their favorite characters already the way they are. And of course I don't plan to take any of it away. All the changes and fixes were only meant to complement what is already there, not in any way to remove or replace what there is. I am now comfortably happy with all characters, and hopefully the mc won't be as jarring as he was before.
