She was the most curious little critter, one thing she couldn’t resist is climbing up to bug me when I was sitting in a chair. (The last photo is her stank face when she smelled smoke, she couldn’t be cuter.)
The good news is Sophie and her brother are both doing GREAT in the wild. 🥰

2024-07-24 13:01:57 +0000 UTCI was born this way? 🥰 In all seriousness I’ve been obsessed with nurturing and rescuing small things since I was a small thing. Then as an adult of fostering all kinds of animals for the local humane society (including exotics) made me well known to my neighbours kids as “the lady who helps animals”. Which means every abandoned little thing anyone finds comes my way now. 😅 It’s my little-self’s biggest dream come true! These raccoons mark the 3rd time I’ve been involved with raccoon rescue, often the local wildlife rescues are too full this time of year to accept any more babies, so I get called. If you click the woodland creature tag you can see the orphaned baby squirrel I hand raised a few years back.)
