STORY:
You accept Jenny's offer to go to the bath with her. You are a bit worried about your things being in an open locker, so you hope and pray no one comes looking for anything.
'Eww, what's that smell??' Jenny exclaims.
You freeze knowing that you hadn't showered in days and that it's probably you.
'It must be the bath. There is too many people here today...' You try to shift the blame.
Jenny giggles. 'Yeah, that must be it!'
Embarrassed that she might have caught you out, you try to shift the topic.
'So, what are you doing in town? I'm guessing you're not from here?' You ask.
'I'm from Spankstown! I was driving to Buttingrove and my car broke down. I had to book the motel until it gets fixed in a few days. Are you from here?'
'I'm from here, yeah.' You quickly lie, not wanting to give out too many details.
'Why were you at the motel yesterday if you live here?' Jenny is curious.
'It's a long story. Maybe I can tell it to you another time.' You brush her question off. The real reason you were in the motel was because the 'work' you did was transferring illegal, stolen goods between two very dangerous gangs. You have worked for them for a few years now and you are their most reliable truck driver. With no family or friendly ties to anyone, you are completely hidden from the system. Thinking this, you wonder if it's trouble that such a beautiful girl wants to spend time with you, and if it's worth ruining your reputation for her. On the other hand, if she is genuine, she might be in danger hanging out with you.
'Another time? Are you calling me out on a date, mister?' Jenny teases.
'Thought we already were on one.' You wink at her.
Jenny's face goes bright red. 'There's too many people here to call it a date!' Jenny giggles and nudges you playfully.
