Weekly Progress Report and Community Recolor 1, shirt color (6-3-2024)

Hey everybody, welcome to another weekly report!

Things went pretty well this week; I managed to work more days than not, and the past few days I got into a writing mood and ended up editing a bunch of cutscene scripts, and writing the entirety of two new cutscenes. With the script for those scenes done, I've just about finished writing all of the brand new cutscenes that are involved in the upcoming rewrite; I still have some old cutscenes and mid-gameplay conversations that need to be edited for continuity, but that takes significantly less work, so I'm feeling really good about writing progress.

I'll definitely have the script rewrites finished by the end of June, hopefully closer to the middle of the month, and then I can finally send them off to our voice actors! That'll remove the biggest hurdle towards getting the rewrite finished and into your hands, so depending on their availability, we might just be able to include the script rewrite in the next update. There's still a decent amount of work left before v0.48 is ready to come out, so I might just delay it a bit and try to do it all in one fell swoop. After the rewrite is done, we can start developing brand new content again, so I'm eager to see that day!

The results from last poll are in; recolors 1 and 2 had a clear favorite, but for Recolor 3, B only beat out A by one vote! It's amazing that this has happened twice already, and both times for Recolor 3 on top of it.

Anyway, this week we're going to be voting for shirt color! Only a few major polls left and we'll have our final palettes, I'm looking forward to seeing them!
