Sweetie Belle from her seated position inside the treasure chest threw a couple hooves full of coins into the air in glee.

"We did it girls! We found the lost, forbidden, cursed treasure, of Blood Mane the Pirate! The unicorn shouted.

"Yep!" Said Applebloom as she looked up from the contents of the chest. She was leaning against the large piece furniture. She glanced over at Stone Mane who was trying to read the inscriptions on the wall. "Any luck figgerin' out that gibberish First Mate?"

The colt looked back over his shoulder at Applebloom. "No luck yet Captain. It's a really old version of Ponish." He went back to trying to parse it.

Sweetie Belle looked over at Applebloom. "Um Captain, why is Stone Mane the First Mate when he really doesn't do anything more than what myself or Scootaloo do?"

The earth pony looked over back at the unicorn and grinned. "Oh trust me. There's a good reason why he's my First Mate. "

Sweetie looked confused. Applebloom shook her head. "I'll explain it ta ya later." AB then looked over at Scootaloo who had been sitting very still and silently for the last minute. Her gaze lowered and fixed on a large, now glowing with fiery light, crystalline sphere she'd found in the treasure chest. The earth pony arched an eyebrow and addressed her.

"Whatcha got there Scoot?"

The pegasus said nothing for a moment, but she finally spoke in a slow almost sleepy voice. "Something special. Something ancient. Something important. Something precious."

Applebloom tilted her head to get a better gander of the sphere. There now seemed to be a great flaming vertical slit eyeball occupying the interior of the globe. The earth pony pursed her lips.

"Um, Scoot. Why dontcha set that aside. Remember this is suppose ta be the cursed treasure of Blood Mane."

Scootaloo didn't respond and kept looking into the globe.

This is third drawing I started during my pirate themed Picarto stream. And I am sure that nothing bad will come from Scoot staring into that thing.
