Stone Mane didn't know why Applebloom was angry with him for helping Cogs in my Equestria dreamscape. Even when she repeatedly said she wasn't. The colt had just been assisting the mare, in some really cool boots, fix the sump pump. Link

But now the colt was trying to think of how to get back on the filly's good side again. As they walked to Carousel Boutique to see if Sweetie Belle wanted to join them for an ice cream the colt tried to remember the few times he'd seen his mom get angry with his dad. Same with his Uncle Rivet and Aunt Marigold.

The one thing the colt could remember his dad and uncle doing was buying something nice for them as a way of saying they were sorry. Maybe if he bought Applebloom something nice. Perhaps some of those high zipper boots like Cogs was wearing she'd be happy with him again.

Applebloom just figured if she got some of the same boots then Stone Mane wouldn't be able take his eyes off her.

Not wanting to have Applejack nail her hide to the side of the barn for ordering said boots, Rarity decided to dodge these bullets and not touch this issue with a 10ft pole!
