Status update

Hey everyone, just wanted to give you all a status update since it's been quiet since v0.37 came out. Red and Orexius have continued working on things, but I've been taking a slightly longer break than usual; I was feeling some real burnout near the end of v0.37's development, so I wanted to give myself some time to get back to normal, especially on top of the holidays and such, but that didn't quite go according to plan at first.

For those of you who aren't in our Discord server, I took some time after the CPE update to install some upgrades to my computer that I've been wanting to do for a while, which ended up causing a ton of issues, from random crashing to the complete failure of my windows SSD. I didn't lose any work-related files except for streaming stuff, so don't worry about the status of CPE, but going straight from burnout into multiple days of pure PC troubleshooting and losing a bunch of personal data left me extremely stressed and even more burnt out. Things have calmed down a bit, thankfully, and I've been able to spend the last few days relaxing and de-stressing. It's likely I'm going to continue being on break for the next few days, and then kick things back into gear once 2020 begins - that'll give me a little more time to relax, get my plans for v0.38 in order, and prepare my stream layouts and such again.

Alright, that's all I have for today. Next update should be in 2020, and I just want to take the opportunity to give you all my utmost thanks for making 2019 such an incredible year for Crisis Point. We finally finished The Great Rework™ this year, though I think it's fair to say that we had more of a reworking focus for most of the year than I wanted despite that - recently, though, production of brand new content has kicked into high gear, and honestly I'm STOKED to see what Crisis Point looks like by the end of 2020! It's going to be an insane year for the game, I know it. Thank you all so, so much for continuing to support us, through thick and thin - I really cannot overstate how much it means to me that you've stuck by us for so long, and I think 2020's gonna be the year that we really make your support worthwhile.
