there's a patch on that now to give you time to react to that situation Edit: copy paste from discord for patch note; -Added a small delay before some enemies become active after entering a room, to give the player time to react if an enemy is right in front of them

No offence, but really, i mean Really, you should redesign some areas in the jungle or add more checkpoints there. On the ground I thought I am playing Contra, but underground I thought I was dropped into Vietnam War as a poor marine. I can take the platforms need 98% accuracy to reach, I can beat the those Poison Ivy with my grenades, but how the hell should I deal with a rifle VC as soon as I passed a door with 20HP and he just right in front of my face and then sent me back to the last check point dozen blocks away...no mention the game may crash then sent player back to check point...so really, remove some surprises or add at least one check point around X25 Y32.

The boss in the Deep Soil shouldn't be blocked off, she's just in a different location than she used to be - she should be just to the left of one of the save points in the Deep Soil, I think the northernmost one.
