Faces from the past
Added 2025-01-02 20:48:27 +0000 UTCThis is a piece I've been holding off on posting until after Christmas because it was a present. Well the Holiday has passed and the client has given the green light for me to do that now.
These two individuals in this drawing are the grandparents of Tyler Stannard who in known in the MLP fandom as Snow Flake or Bulk Bicep. Now portraits are not my forte or area of expertise, and I only had a few 1940s period B/W photos to work from. But I am rather happy with my final results. Unfortunately the oversized scanner I had available could not capture some of the subtle shading in their skin tones in this 11" x 14" graphite pencil drawing.
