Progress update

Hey everyone, just a quick text update to let you all know how v.26 is coming along.

I've been mostly focused on implementing the new weapon system; I detailed it in a post a while ago, but basically Alicia's blaster is made up of 2 parts now: A and B chips. The A chips change the function of the bullet itself, while B chips change how pulling the trigger works (i.e. one bullet per button press, hold button to rapid fire, etc). The new system will allow you to equip one of each chip at a time to customize how your blaster works, so you can find something that suits your playstyle. You'll be able to find these weapon upgrades scattered all over the game world, some in plain sight, some hidden - all of them are optional though, so you can theoretically play through the entire game with just the default blaster, if you wanted to challenge yourself. In a future update, you'll be able to equip two sets of chips and swap between them quickly with a simple button press, but for now the system for swapping between upgrades is extremely WIP.

Aside from that, I've also been re-tiling some areas of the Summit. It won't all be re-tiled in time, unfortunately - especially because I'm going to redesign a bunch of the rooms in the next update - but the early areas will be, so you'll at least get a taste of the improved art!

v.26 should be coming out within the next week, I expect. In order to release, I have to finish getting the new weapons system up and running, get the new Game Over scene implemented, remove the old blaster powerups (Spread Shot and Phase Shot) from the game and replace them with the new powerups (Ledge Grab and Dash), and temporarily fix up some level designs so that the game will still have its regular progression even with the new/changed powerups. There's a bunch more I'd like to do for the update, but I'll be focusing on those things for now so I can push this out as fast as possible. You've all certainly been waiting long enough.
