Here is 3 possible compositions I came up for the finished piece. It's the classic rubbing sun screen on the girl's back scenario, and before someone says it in the comments. Yes horses and ponies can get sunburned. Relaxing number 1 so that's what we'll go with after making a couple of minor changes.

I like the third angle, gives a nice view on both Scoot's expression and Spike's less than comfortable (but enjoyable) situation.

2024-12-10 16:15:32 +0000 UTCThe issue of ponies sunburning was actually addressed in the show, as Luna suffered some pretty nasty sunburns while relaxing on a beach because Celestia wasn't there to remind her to apply sunscreen.
