A very recent moment in my Equestria dreamscape that I want to get certain details down on paper before they were forgotten.

This dream takes place toward the beginning of Season Six. Applebloom and Stone Mane's relationship has continued to grow, and with graduation for both of them now looming in the not too distant in the future both AB's and Stone's families have started to discuss that topic that's been on many ponies minds.

Marriage.

This is not a marriage between to two great ancient houses, but in the last few years the Apple clan's fortunes and political clout have grown extensively. So Stone's family potentially may benefit from this windfall as well when the marriage occurs. So letters, telegrams, and even face to face to meetings have been ongoing.

Of course neither Applebloom or Stone Mane are really concerned about those issues at the moment. They have other things on their minds.

In fact Applebloom has been asking Petina and Carousel off and on for advice, information, and tidbits. One thing she's learned from them is that zippers are amazing, but buttons are far more important. Not necessarily the buttons on garments, but the buttons that ponies have themselves, and the importance of being able to tell the difference between good buttons and bad ones. Even better was learning how to push the good ones. For that Petina and Carousel have been able to provide a vast trove of knowledge to the young mare.

So one day Stone Mane came home to what should've been his empty house in Baltimare to find Applebloom draped across his bed. His aunt and uncle were out of town for the weekend, and AB had taken advantage of this detail to do some shadow fast travel from Ponyville to get the young stallion's feedback.

These were good button...right?
