Thanks to everyone who stopped by - the secret reveal went across well, and I should have an official announcement about it in the near future. In the meantime, I'll be streaming again relatively soon - v.17 still has a decent amount of work to be done, so I'm behind, and I'm going to try and catch up as fast as possible. Keep an eye out for it!
ORIGINAL POST: Hey everybody! Like I mentioned earlier, I had plans for later in the month, so development has been silent for the past ~2 weeks - I tried to get as much work done as I could in the first half of the month, but since the update isn't quite finished, me and Orexius are going to be hosting another stream on Saturday. Hopefully it won't clash too much with everybody's Halloween plans! We're going to be starting at about 3pm, but it probably won't go all night. I'm most likely going to have to delay the update a few days into November, but the list of things I have yet to finish is relatively small, so it shouldn't take too long! I'm also going to be showing off a super special secret on stream - so try to make it if you can!

2015-11-08 18:38:51 +0000 UTCThing is, the reason Patreon doesn't allow paypal for NSFW projects is because paypal themselves don't allow NSFW stuff. Yes, it's very unlikely that they would ever find out - but I'm not willing to risk doing something that's strictly against their rules, especially when money is involved. Not to mention it would make all the donations a bit harder to keep track of, since they wouldn't all be located on Patreon anymore.

I'm REALLY hoping Patreon will finally implement the "one-time, instant pledge" feature they've been talking about for ages, but until they do I don't really have other options. I can't start giving the update away to anyone who hasn't donated yet, since that would undermine the entire point of sending it out manually - and other forms of donations such as paypal would be a lot harder to keep track of, on top of the fact that none of them allow NSFW content on their services, meaning I would be risking money and legal issues by going through them. I wish I could give you a more helpful answer, but my hands are pretty much tied :\

I played the demo and loved it, so I pledged right away but since I was a couple days after the 1st I now have to wait over a month for a new version? I understand that's how the patreon is set up, but it really sucks for people like myself who enjoy your game and want to support its development. Is there no option other than waiting now?

2015-11-06 06:04:16 +0000 UTCSorry, man - you didn't pledge to the campaign until November 3rd, so you weren't in the group who donated this month. The way Patreon works is that your pledge won't actually be processed unless you join before the 1st of the month, so essentially, you aren't going to be charged any money until early December, but you'll also have to wait until then to get a demo update. I've had a lot of problems with people stealing updates in the past, and this is the best way to prevent it from happening.

2015-11-04 02:26:33 +0000 UTCNot entirely sure what you mean by if you donate twice, but the basics are, if you donate $10 or more total, you'll get the final version of the game at no extra charge, no matter if you stopped pledging or not - but you will only get the playable beta updates every month you pledge the appropriate amount. There is no way to get access to the betas indefinitely without continuing to donate. Hope that answers your question!
