Quick update

I realized today that I've been very silent for the past few weeks, so I wanted to make a quick update to inform you all of what's been going on. Inbetween taking breaks from work to chill out and play Monster Hunter 4U, I've been working on getting the pause system implemented. I've got it just about done, so I should actually start having some visual updates soon! I've been focused on that and it's not really something I can show you guys. The pause will activate when you.. you know.. pause the game, but it will also activate when you pick up a powerup (wire shot, force shot ammo upgrade, etc). I was always unhappy with the way the game kept playing while you were reading dialogue, since sometimes it led to you getting attacked by an enemy without the ability to fight back. Luckily, in v.10, that will be a thing of the past! Crisis Point edges ever onward toward becoming a fully realized game with all the fixings, and I thank you all for your patience and support as it makes its way there :) -A42

Nah, you don't sound like an idiot! You're new to the patreon campaign so the confusion is perfectly understandable. The thing is, because of piracy concerns, the latest version of the game (v.09) is only available to people who were pledging at the start of March, and it's also only for backers of $10 or more.
