Hey guys, sorry for not updating for a while, but today I bring good news! Crisis Point now has a (mostly) auto-generating map system! http://gyazo.com/7e1085ad0e127b3b53eca1749d809f9d What this means is that, while you wander around the world of Crisis Point, your map will automatically update each time you enter a new screen - not a new room, but a new 640x480 area (the size of the game's resolution.) Each room in the game adheres to that size restriction, and now that there's a visible map in place, you can see exactly how they connect together in the grand scheme of things. Now, for the v.09 update, it won't be possible to uncover some of the rooms fully. In the screenshot, you'll notice that the rooms on the left seem to be missing chunks. That's because Alicia never moved into those screens, because it's impossible to do so right now. Rest assured this will not always be the case. Now that the system is functional, I'll update room design in the next update to ensure that it's possible to fully complete the entire map. I won't be able to get all that done for v.09, though, so my apologies to any OCD completionists out there like myself! (Also, yes, I will make the map easier to look at before releasing v.09.) -A42

Haha, it does look pretty big doesn't it? I don't have the game map fully finished yet, so it's hard to say how big it will be. I made the grid extra large so that I wouldn't have to change it at any point in development, but I don't think the actual world will be quite that big :P There will be plenty to explore though, don't you worry!
