Ugh.. stress.

Just a heads up for everyone. The last few days have been really stressful for me. I've finally been able to settle down for a bit of desperately-needed relaxation, but I might end up having slightly less content available than I hoped for v.04 of Crisis Point. Not a whole lot, mind you. The only things that aren't done are the Slime Duo scene, the non-knockdown Taking Damage sprite, and designing new areas to roam around in. I plan on finishing the Slime Duo and getting some new places to explore put in there, but I'm probably going to be moving the damage sprite to the next update. I'm really sorry for any disappointment this brings. I just need a break. -A42

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I don't think v.04 will really be disappointing to anyone, I just feel a bit bad about not getting everything done that I mentioned at the beginning of the month. It's good to know you guys aren't gonna up and ditch me because of one misstep though~

That being said... currently that's 77 hours of work a month (at minimum wage, which no developer should ever settle for). I've never supported a crowdfunding project before, so I don't know what to expect. I just don't want you to stress out and kill yourself. I'll take whatever you give me

It's like Sarul said, some months we will get a little more, others a little less. Int the end its all good as long as you keep up the good work and please don't burn yourself out on it. I am sure we can put up with a little bit of a wait if the final product comes out that much better. In short your doing great! Keep it up :D

You do have a point there, but I tend to think of it on a bigger level. Like, my patrons have pledged a total of $700 to me this month, so I gotta make sure I get the work done to justify earning that amount, you know? Even if my Patreon earnings aren't quite enough to live off of, it's still a lot of support being sent my way, and I don't want to end up disappointing the people who are supporting me so much.

No worries man. The stress is more about things in my personal life than money. I appreciate the heck out of each of you guys, regardless of how much you're donating.

Well, I'd be funneling more cash, but I'm poor so can only give so much :(

Again, if it makes you feel better, most of us DO only pay you about one hour's wage per month. So... I mean, you're definitely doing more with that hour than I could in a month. Jokes aside, keep it up man. I'll take any update

If it's any consolation this is still my favorite update to Crisis Point since I started working on it. It feels much more like a real game now. I'm hoping that, along with the vastly improved atmosphere, will turn some heads.

These problems are bound to happen. I'm guessing there will be months when we get more content than the previous month/what was expected and hopefully more patrons will join in helping to fund your project.
