It was about 10 in the evening, and the love his life was obviously embracing the night. Gone was her usual bird wings and in their place was a pair of chiffon yellow bat wings. Her current outfit was in keeping with the expression on her face.
The Lord of Chaos placed a bookmark in his book and then set the tome on the nightstand. With that accomplished he addressed his wife who had remaining silent up to now.
"Good evening dear!" He grinned at her. "How are we doing tonight?"
An impish grin slowly spread across her face and she growled.
"I need something from you!"
Discord nodded his head thoughtfully and then casually pulled open the top drawer of the nightstand. Confirming the first aid kit was there he looked back to her and grinned.
"Okay."
