Ah Patreon. Why do you do these things?
Added 2023-12-06 00:53:02 +0000 UTCSssoooo, Some of you may noticed that on my latest Equestria dreamscape posting there are no Tags connected to it. That's because Patreon has all of the sudden deleted that feature.....for image postings.
Bbbuuuuttt...as I am doing typing this Text Posting I can glance over to right side of the window and see the box labeled Tags.
Now some might say. "Baron just create a Collection! That's what all the cool kids are doing these, and yes I have started a Collection called Equestria Dreamscape.
However I cannot just create a Collection using the +Create collection with tags button because in the collection of tags they show they don't list Equestria Dreamscape as a listed tag. Bbbuuuttttt. In this Create text post window/box I can once again go over to handy little box labeled Tags; type in the word Equestria Dreamscape and be told there's 409 postings with that description.
Patreon organizes Tags based the number of them so Equestria Dreamscape should be number 2 on the list.....but it's not.
So if I want to create a complete Equestria Dreamscape collection at the moment I am going to have to hunt down each individual posting by hand and add them to the collection. That will take time. Time I could be create new content. Fulfilling patron rewards, and finishing commissions. Good job Patreon.....Stop using Deviant Art as a role model.

The fact that tags don't automatically make collections is probably the dumbest part of this change. It's simple, make it so any tag that's used on say at least 10 posts just by default becomes a collection.
