For this piece I'll be drawing the mare in her 4-legged form. Before I started on the finished piece I wanted to confirm that the client liked my idea for her outfit. They gave it the thumbs up. I think Amby and my OC Straight Laced could swap fashion tips. Link Link Link

You've done pony AppleBloom in similar garb, but I can't see a function for it on a pony (other than as fan service, which I am NOT complaining!). The only possible function I can think of might be for some type of protection if this is fighting gear.
