Either as monsters threatening the protagonist of the story or various antagonists threatening to turn one of the characters into a mummy. Either the monster itself wants a bride for the ages. Secret cults, sects, or societies that are either offering sacrifices to their deity, or just wishing to relive the good old days.
For Halloween my muse Rosemary Parker appears to be volunteering for the role of sexy mummy for the the evening.
