Nightmare Moon head studies 01

I have only drawn Nightmare Moon a couple of times and since this will be a color piece I want to be certain myself and the client are on the same page of the book. Also for this commission Nightmare Moon will not be grumpy, angry, angsty self. Instead she's suppose to have a more calm, relaxed demeanor to her so I want to make sure I am on the same page of the book with client. This is the first round of studies in that process.

2018-09-25 21:21:55 +0000 UTCShouldn’t Nightmare Moon ha e fangs? Even if she is calm, those would be visible in the top image, I would think. Especially since her eyes are small enough that the “dragon iris” is not visible, that is the other characteristic that differentiates her from Luna.
