Added 2018-08-17 17:15:18 +0000 UTC A recently finished commission. I have done several drawings of this character before Dinner for Three It was a fun piece to do. The composition is looking down from above viewpoint. Another visual trick was the fact that the client wanted the classic sleep drool on the mare's face and pillow. This is denoted as darkening of the pillow case and the fine hair on her face, but I didn't want it to so dark that the viewer might mistaken it for blood. Also I decided to give the unicorn a universal pillow protector for her horn. Pillows are expensive!
The setting is a world where ponies have contact with humans. Apparently Samantha has an interest in them.
