Even though Hira and Kioyi are so fundamentally different at the start, they learn and grow with each other until they find an equilibrium where they both can be happy together. This is how you write a love story.

The people who tried to say it was toxic , just didn't truly understand the characters and what they were portraying for each other. This has always been my number one Japanese BL and I'm so glad you have liked it but also took the time to understand the characters and watch them grow
