So I'm one of those folks who wakes up at the crack of dawn to watch the GMMTV presentation of next year's shows, and GMMTV 2023 (which was presented in fall 2022) was my first. At that time, there was a pretty...general consensus that the ships were gonna break up. (I got into BLs in very early 2022, and spent most of my fandom question time on reddit and twitter, fwiw.) Like, it was generally thought that it'd be 3 shows and out. So watching GMMTV 2023 was...well, we got Cooking Crush announced and Cherry Magic TH (which was the first time Tay and New were working together in a LONG time) but what everyone REALLY wanted was another Ohm and Nanon show. I cannot explain to you the rumors flying around. Ohm talked to P'Aof and mentioned it in a tweet. Nanon says he'll never do another BL again in an interview with a magazine. That kind of stuff. And then P'Aof said he had this idea, and that it was probably going to happen, and welp, if I remember right, the last thing they showed that morning was Our Skyy 2. It was ALMOST nothing. Not even a trailer. Just all the guys and a cute little intro. I think we went apeshit, collectively. I woke my husband up (even though I was in the living room and he in the bedroom) when I screamed. And then the filming rumors! I remember SPECIFICALLY that there were photos leaked of Ohm and Nanon in the forest, and everyone was like, wtf is this?!??!!!??? And then by the time it aired, those 4 eps, in my memory of it, we knew. We knew it'd be all four of them, we knew Pat and Pran were in the forest. And it was APPOINTMENT TV. I think I traveled the day the 3rd ep dropped? And I like, lost my mind about not being able to watch it right away. You asked what it was like to watch it as it aired, and that's what it was like. So good that you simply had to make excuses to your family about needing a rest after the flight, when you didn't need a rest, you needed to mainline ATOTSxBBS. (Also, I started a Wai x Rang fic that I never finished because there is so much WaiKorn hype in the fandom and I never really cared about them, so I thought it would so funny if someone did WaiRang.)

There would be a "distance" between the characters of Pat and Pran that there wasn't before... All these words are rubbish ... Those who say this have not understood the characters of Pat and Pran who are exactly the same in BBS and in Our Skyy2... Pat is always "clingy" to Pran and Pran always plays at provoking Pat, to then tell him his love... Nothing has changed in the characters (but Our Skyy2 shows us a deepening of their relationship)... Ohm and Nanon, as you say, remained very professional in front of the camera... After that, there is a big part of the responsibility of the GMMTV which forced them to promote, which forced them to continue when they wanted to stop... It's not only the fans (very stupid, it's true) there is also the GMMTV who managed this story very badly ... After all, there are certainly plenty of "personal" things about them that we will never know, and so much the better, it’s their business...

2025-08-15 20:16:00 +0000 UTCAs it was for you, Bad Buddy was my first BL (although I love them I don’t count Heartstopper or Young Royals as BLs), but I didn’t see A Tale of 1000 Stars until after I had already watched Moonlight Chicken, so I was already familiar with Earth and Mix. As others have mentioned, the “falling out” (which I think has been severely overblown) between Ohm and Nanon negatively colored some people’s view of these four episodes, but I was happily able to enjoy them on their own terms. Even if Ohm and Nanon were on the outs when this was being made, they certainly don’t let it show on camera. It is great fun to see all these characters once again, even if only for a short time, particularly having seen so many of them in other series since the two original series were made. For the record, I love Ohm’s hair at this length. I think it really suits him.
