I’m coming into this reaction a little late, but I should be able to watch your reaction to the next episode right after you post it. Most of the things I would’ve said someone has already said, but I will just add that from what I have learned about the Thai language, the emphasis on words almost always is on the final syllable, so when they say English words, they usually put the emphasis on that last syllable, hence the emphasis on the “fall” part of “waterfall.” (As I’m sure you know by now, some of the Thai actors speak fluent English while others do not, and it seems that for the most part, the non-fluent actors understand English better than they speak it. Because it happens, Drake is one of the ones who is fluent because his father is American, and he has spent a fair amount of time in the US.)
