2024-08-30 18:17:41 +0000 UTCYes, that woman on the stairs was the Librarian who tried to kill Jenny. The woman that Edwin talks to in hell is Desire from The Sandman. Dispair is twin to Desire and Sandman is Dream. They are the Endless. Sandman is getting another season so maybe the Boys will cross over. The machine Esther is making tortures ghost turning their pain to magical power. Most ghosts would be used up in a few seconds, but Edwin was tortured for 70 years in hell. So she thinks he could be tortured endlessly. I like how Simon's punishment was repeatedly tearing out pages from the book he used on Edwin. Good scene with him and Edwin. Edwin finally confessing his love for Charles and then Charles telling him it doesn't change anything between them. Tugged on these heartstrings!
