Cain
There's a sickening wet thump followed by dragging sounds of a limp body getting drug across the concrete from inside the alleyway.
A tall man hovers above the collapsed form of another, his hands wrapped around the other man's wrists, the dark circles beneath his eyes highlighted by his chalk white parlor.
He's trying to fight the bile burning at the back of his throat.
He's trying not to cry.
But the man's intestines spill out of his stomach like streamers no matter how many times Cain tries to push them back in.
The rest of his organs are missing.
Spleen? Heart? Stomach? Lungs?
There's nothing left past the man's broken ribs but the aforementioned entrails that are sure to haunt Cain's dreams for the rest of his life.
Did he do that?
He can't remember.
