2025-08-06 23:01:14 +0000 UTCI am arguably not the biggest hinata fan for many reasons but I did appreciate how she overcame her insecurities and used her admiration and affection towards naruto as a strength. I don't think female characters being in love is a weakness in general and this applies to sakura too tbh but I just wish we could some of them being utilized more just beyond that.

2025-08-06 21:54:20 +0000 UTCOne of the things that I adore about Naruto standing up for Hinata is that he relates to her position of being talked down and told that she is a failure and can't change that. When Neji gives his monologue she feels like it's directed at him. On the other hand, Hinata relates to Naruto cause, just like him, she constantly fails, but that relating turns into admiration because, unlike her, he just keeps trying no matter how much he fails. This is why I always thought that Hinata's feelings are my the best written in this show, because they go beyond a simple child/teenage crush.
