Studio SHAFT x Madoka Magica x the year 2025 might yield a legendary movie (NOT jinxing it; this movie has already been delayed for far too long). My thoughts!!: - I recall seeing Homura in gecko/salamander form when she was turning into a witch. I thought it was weird for them to put that in there randomly, but seems like this form will have a bigger role in this coming movie. In Rebellion, she appeared for a few seconds and then kind of melted, and it looked similar to how the gecko in these trailers was changing forms. - HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO DO THIS TO SAYAKA? Hasn't she gone through enough?? I can't imagine what Kyoko's going to be feeling... - Why does Homura look like Kaoruko with the headband, maybe I'm just obsessed with Fragrant Flowers lol IF I HAD TO PREDICT: - I have a feeling Walpurgisnacht, as we know it, will be the twist in this movie. And somehow the events of this movie will lead us/connect again to the first episode of the anime series. It makes me think...for a series that's comfortable with looping time and bending reality, what kind of "ending" will we as viewers be satisfied with?

Alana, I hope you react to Lord of the Mysteries. I think it will have/gain many views on your channel since it has huge fandoms like (or even more than) Solo Levening. It will be released on June 27/28 on Crunchyroll.

The animation definitely has more of a Rebellion vibe than the show. This is entirely just a wild guess on my end but, does anyone feel like it's possible walpurgisnacht might actually be a fragment of Homura? Like, in Rebellion she says she took just a "little piece" of madoka and it's that fragment that's in her new world with her, implying the larger law of Cycles is still outside that universe but has had a tiny bit pulled into homura's world. With the art of homura facing homura in promotional art I've seen, and Homura's time manipulation abilities making her kind of timeless, and the title of the movie, I wonder if it's going to end up being a fragment of homura that ultimately ends up being walpurgisnacht? The description in the trailer, the fool that constantly spins round and round is almost word for word the description of walpurgisnacht from the madoka wiki...my theory is that what homura did to madoka in Rebellion, will happen in some way to her, and that fragment is going to become walpurgisnacht, hence the title walpurgisnacht rising? Total guesswork on my part and they do have a penchant for subverting peoples guesses, but it would fit what I've seen so far.
