I've been watching along in the dub, and there they give the foreigners a Texas accent. So it's funny to hear Karma switch to a Texas accent when trash talking them

I don't know the fully rationale behind it, though I do see a positive intention of preventing child labor and ensuring that children can focus on their education and not dealing with the burden of finances (which the parents should be handling for them)
