God tohru’s monologue about kyo in ep 9 still makes me cry so hard it’s so beautiful she loves that boy!! they’re so precious 🥲🤍

2024-12-26 02:36:01 +0000 UTCAll I can say, is thank God the anime timed the chapters to make sure the cliff fall wasn't an actual episode ending cliffhanger lol, cuz it would've been too much. I feel like 3x9 would've been a 2nd to last episode in any other anime. But Fruits Basket has 4 whole episodes of wrap up. There's even a bit more in the manga, but its great to have an anime that has a proper wrap up.

T the way they handle akito's character is super well done imo, they make it clear they're not excusing her actions, but she's accountable for them and will have to reconcile with them moving forward, i love this show so much omfg i'm so glad that you decided to give it a watch! i remember when it was all about fluffy little animals way back when, it really hits like a truck the deeper you get

(Also off topic from fruits basket but what I did was I edited the link click ED and put it on this fruits basket episode as a “what if cliffhanger if it ended of tohru falling from the episode” for a meme😭😭💀 But as for the two episodes. On episode 9 you notice Kyo loses to yuki once again… because yuki got there to tohru first just like how yuki found her. BUT in episode 10 it was like a competition as well that KYO WON!! He finally beat yuki on telling the other how they felt about each other! So W kyo. W yuki actually W everyone. Now one more thing even though Akito saved tohru I honestly still don’t forgive her. I know she’s been through so much and such but I feel like Akito is one of the best characters in the series if you notice fruits basket has one of the best themes by SEASON ONE tohru helping kyo: SEASON TWO tohru helping yuki: SEASON 3: I believe it was tohru helping Akito
