This episode is SO intense. Akito backstory is actually very sad. She never had a proper mother that would give love and care for her, the only love she got was from her father who not only died but was also stuck on a bad relationship and blamming himself for Ren's behavior. Besides all, she was raised in a very toxic environment with the maids constantly arguing between who had more "rights" and confined in the idea that Akito was born to be loved and that she was special but she never really received the love she was promised. She is a very broken and lonely person in the end, like a feral animal, constantly hurting and doing and things to try to protect this sense of control. Kureno, he is such a pure soul.
