Kyo is such a broken person that cannot handle losing anyone that he loves anymore and is just desperate to have Tohru safe but away from him in order to protect her. It is really incredible how many layers the author was able to put into the hat storyline tbh. Who knew once we saw that hat in season 1 that we would still be finding out more about it at the end of the story like this. What I love about this show is how much character development and layers it has. Everyone has motive, has reason, has purpose to be how they are and at the same time, still have room to grow and mature as a person. About Ren, I don't think she actually loved Akira. I think she saw how lonely he was and acted on it in order to be important to someone, she threw herself at him almost in desperation disguised as love, forcing herself to be the only thing/ person he would care about. Akira was indeed lonely and waiting a partner for the rest of life he had. Akira did love Akito but he was trapped inside the whole "special" symbol and pushed this into Akito as how loved she would be forever, almost in a way to justify his love and relationship with Ren, even though Ren could not care less for Akito as a child. Only when he died, Ren felt betrayed that she was not the one beside him and went to try to make Akito feel like she was disposable since her father did not need her anymore. It is an awful thing and environment to grow up in, and the maids are just a reinforcement of this whole absurdity. Love the reactions. I cannot wait for the next episodes. Cannot believe we are almost there. I'll be really sad when this is over.

I'm guessing not π’

2024-12-21 01:58:35 +0000 UTCALANA IM SORRY THIS COMMENT IS SO LONG LOLLLL So i want to prephrase i didnt watch the outro yet and only the reaction, also this may be long but i really want to hear everyones opinion! i want to talk about episode 8. firstly if you remember in like season one kyo tals about how he gets so sick in the rain but this time it didnt effect him because he just feels nothing at this point Also we notice when he tries to run away from things he throws insults to try and weaken them (for example) S1 E24 the true form. Kyo would say "leave me alone," "you're stupid" even hitting her. thinking that would make her go away.. it didnt. but at that time between now kyo didnt know tohru as much as of now so he has a new weapon. talking about her mother . Even though it hurt tohru she didnt give up! also notice at one scene a tree was standing between them which signafies the crack state visual in the ending of S2 E24 after the play. kyo was SO close on finding tohru when kyoko lost her because if you notice in kyos flashback that is the EXACT spot tohru was hiding in where yuki found her :(( on a rewatch of the series, (i 100% recommend it!) in season 1 where shigure confronted him about being friends with yuki and him hiding. he says "I dont want to see or think about anything" i believe we are supposed to think that kyo is mentioning how scared he was of his true form but he was thinking about kyoko... kyo thought about kyoko every single day. probably until the true form arc because that was his distraction .he forgot about everything because tohru healed him but S2 episode 9 Akito brought some of it back. also i remember thinking when "the hat" or kyoko got brought up or the graveyard i used to think "oh hes just being his grumpy cat self like with yuki meeting him in shigures house saying "hey do you remember that hat?" that wasnt anger. yuki brought it back too by mistake so with the missing pieces with the hat, seeing tohru. and hearing about kyoko those pieces piled up on s3 episode 6 all at once and he couldnt handle it. ONTO MORE SWEET THING i really loved episodes like this so much because on how well it shows the characters point of views. like yuki being jealous of kyo, kyo feeling abandoned. momiji being jealous of kyo. how haru and Rin are doing. ALL of these characters feeling in this show is so beautiful i love it!!

Actually hate both of them little akito did NOT deserve all of that (: And honestly! Kureno had that coming π¬ after all of this years of cuddling her and doing nothing -which was making her worse- now when everything she lived with started falling apart heβs telling her to change damn couldnβt you do that way back when she was less crazy? I donβt know Iβm probably being mean to him but heβs very frustrating even though he means well.
