That old maid lady is hugely responsible for how Akito turned out.. Yea, Akito had an awful mother.. But so did Yuki and many of the other zodiacs... The key is the enabling factor.... The old maid & all the other servants are the ones who have encouraged and enabled her worst behavior since childhood... All just in service of this weird zodiac cult that none of them even understand beyond it being a "tradition" of sorts... And sadly... Kureno also is a major enabler... Tho I cannot blame him much, since he's also the victim... It's disturbing to see this stunted woman-child on a desperate, violent temper tantrum.. and everyone who is in any position to stop/discipline her is just like.. "yes, this is how it should be" -_-.....

Such a simple thoughtful action by Yuki moving mountains for Machi. I felt that. I feel like I relate to Yuki in a similar way as you do. It's pure art. I'm not kidding when I say Haru should do his worst, his entire THING is to protect Rin from these thoughtless narcissists // I was so ready for the thread to completely SNAP, but we only got a bit of fraying, but I suppose that will do for now // ironically, the key to separating from Akito is coming to accept Akito for what she really is because, i'm sorry, the way Akito was screaming for Haru while he was leaving was too funny to me in an "I cannot believe this" sort of way Haru and Rin are the type of couple that makes you believe soulmates are a real thing...or yes, making you think about cliffs 🤣😭 // these two episodes are PEAK romance with Yuki/Machi, Kisa/Hiro, and Haru/Rin, so so so so so sooooooo CATHARTIC also how Miso freezes up at 9:44 😭🤣

2024-12-14 01:14:28 +0000 UTCRin is a character that I love so much that it's impossible for me not to empathize with her and how despite her grumpy attitude she is one of the most altruistic character in the series, always putting others before herself and her relationship with Haru is simply beautiful. The entire final sequence, no matter how many times I watch it, makes me cry and Rin's "Akito is like mama when mama is angry" always breaks my heart. Lastly, I don't remember if this was something that was explicitly said or it was just my interpretation, but although it's clear that Akito hates women mainly because of her mother, I've always had the belief that she particularly hates Rin for physically resembling Ren and that's why she cuts Rin's hair so she doesn't look so much like Ren.

2024-12-14 00:58:39 +0000 UTCI love Yuki and Machi together so much, the whole thing about Machi hating snow and perfection while Yuki's name means snow and he was considered the "perfect prince" at school, neither of them may be perfect but to me they are both perfect for each other. Another thing which I doubt was intentional (I think) but I see a couple of parallels between them and Kyo and Tohru, for example, while Tohru helped Kyo emotionally, Yuki did the same with Machi in this episode and Kyo was the only one who could see through Tohru who always keeps her feelings to herself, while Machi could see through Yuki and realize that despite everything he is not perfect and he was actually lonely. Also, Kakeru being a wingman between his best friend and sister, lol, he's the best.
