Again, I just love the themes of hope throughout the series, and the idea that yeah, the world's not all light, but it's not all dark either. I love Yuki. And one of my absolute favorite things about Fruits Basket is that we get to see so many different types of bonds and love in this story, and it doesn't necessarily place romantic love as above familial or platonic love. Yuki and Tohru's friendship/bond isn't treated as a subplot compared to the romance, it's actually such an important part of the story. Anyways, that's the end of my rant :)
