Another NOT fun fact is that the reason Rin feels sick constantly is that sometimes she don't eat at all because she has a trauma with food because when the whole thing with her parents started they were having dinner

2024-12-04 18:58:39 +0000 UTCOne thing I guess I can say right now since it has no real impact on the anime is that the whole Tohru and Kakeru thing has nothing to do with Yuki, in fact this seems to be the main reason why Kakeru got closer to Yuki was because of his relationship with Tohru and this had a small arc of its own in the manga that wasn't adapted into the anime. To start, it all comes down to Kakeru's girlfriend (named Komaki) who is the daughter of the man who ran over Kyoko who also died in the accident and at Kyoko's funeral Kakeru acted in a horrible way towards Tohru for "acting like she was the only one affected" however, when Komaki found out, she became very angry with Kakeru for his insensitivity to Tohru's feelings so once she processed her mistake when realizing that everyone deals with pain differently Kakeru looked for a way to get closer to Tohru to apologize to her

2024-11-28 07:01:15 +0000 UTCi thought Rin's story was scattered throughout s2, but i must have forgotten that episode 18 addressed a lot of it. heartbreaking episode. so extremely difficult for me to get through the first time, and just fills me with anger the second time around (just like Haru). i think Rin is just really broken and her fixations on her parents (which any child rightfully has) is the cause of her deep trauma. and this is all not even mentioning what Akito did to her. these are the kinds of stories Fruits Basket wants to tell. and they absolutely must be told.

2024-11-28 06:27:06 +0000 UTCep 18 was a lot for me when i first watched it a few years ago because at that time i had trauma related to rin's story. i felt so bad for her and the voice acting was really good when she repeated "don't yell at me" to tohru that i started crying π i'm healed now and already in a better situation, and fruits basket was actually the first thing that made me want to start my healing journey :D

2024-11-27 22:28:33 +0000 UTCepisode 18 was ALOT idk why kazuma and hiro's/kaguras and kisa's mom is the only people who accept the zodiac here :(( lesson learned adults suck in this show LOL also this is the way i see it but i feel like the doll Rin had represents Tohru Rin was so happy with the doll as well and when her doll "returned" she's nervous trying to protect Haru and Tohru with everything involved.
