This episode has a lot of good character development moments. Rin and Haru relationship and internal struggles, Yuki realization about Rin and himself, Kyo introspectiveness and Tohru's glimpse of a crack into her real struggles and feelings. It does feel like the beach arc is "reset" period to the story that catapults the characters into a lot of new discoveries and progress. So excited for the rest of the season!

2024-11-22 14:17:38 +0000 UTCLooked it up because I was curious -"Rin" is another reading of "鈴", the second kanji in "Isuzu". So that's one mystery about her solved. Though this episode does confirm for me that she cares *deeply* about Haru. Given that we saw Kisa in the hospital after bullshit with Akito and what he did to Hatori's eye, I feel there's a decent chance Akito is also responsible for whatever happened to Rin to cause that scar and send her to the hospital (which would explain at least part of why Rin is pushing everyone away). I do not even have words for how much I adore Haru. I do worry though, the same as I do with Tohru, that he ignores what *he* needs too often. Honestly the more we learn, the more his occasional shift into "Dark Haru" makes sense. These poor kids.
