2024-10-26 03:54:44 +0000 UTCKyo calling Tohru by her name for the first time ;-; and the way we essentially get Tohru embracing all three forms of Kyo at the end ;-; aaa I love episode 24 so much and how it explores what love and acceptance does and does not look like through Kazuma, Kyo's mother, and Tohru. I was also surprised this wasn't the finale because I feel like it encompasses the essence of fruits basket as a series so well; how beautiful and meaningful it is to be seen and understood. thank you for letting us experience season 1 along with you, it's been such a joy <3

2024-10-26 03:17:04 +0000 UTCmy favorite episode of fruits basket!! i think whats really bad because of the details throughout season 1 shows how kyo feels about himself. one huge example is the episode with him and kagura when he was in the shower there was a mirror and he would never look up at because to kyo's POV his identiy isnt the human kyo we see but the monster we just saw the final scene was SO PERFECT
