The flashback part where Tohru tells her mom "I was born to meet you" and then Kyouko not being there anymore hurt more than I thought it was gonna on the rewatch. But it just really shows how much her mom was really everything to her. I love Tohru so much. She's been through a lot, but she never uses her pain or bad experiences to be rude or disdainful of others, but always to connect with them on some level or empathize.
